A cow dung dewatering system is a mechanical setup used to separate excess water from cow dung or cattle manure. It is commonly used in dairy farms, biogas plants, organic fertilizer units, and waste-management facilities to convert semi-liquid dung into a solid, manageable form.

The system works by applying pressure through equipment such as screw presses, belt presses, or filter presses. As the cow dung passes through the machine, water is squeezed out and collected separately, while the solid portion is discharged as dewatered manure. The recovered liquid can be reused for irrigation or further treatment, and the solid material can be used for composting, organic fertilizer, or biogas feedstock.
